Urea melamine formaldehyde resin as basic material, combined with senior cellulose intensifier, special conditioning agent, lubricant additives, and pigments. Modified through curing process, this urea-formaldehyde resin incorporates small amounts of melamine, phenol, resorcinol, alkyl amine and furfural to effectively improve water resistance.
The average molecular weight is about 10000. Linear urea-formaldehyde oligomer is obtained by condensation of urea and 37% formaldehyde aqueous solution under acid or alkali catalysis. Industrial production uses alkali as catalyst with formaldehyde/urea molar ratio of 1.5-2.0 at about 95°C to ensure proper resin curing.

Melamine should be stored in a humidity-controlled environment (30% to 50% RH), in a dry, well-ventilated area. After opening the package, immediately reseal to prevent moisture absorption.
