Product Description
High Temperature Resistant Urea/Melamine Moulding Compound for Corrosion-Proof Tableware
High-Temperature Resistant Urea/Melamine Moulding Compound (UMC/MMC)
Premium Material for Corrosion-Proof & Durable Tableware
This high-performance thermosetting composite is specifically engineered for the manufacturing of premium food-contact grade tableware. By combining the aesthetic appeal of porcelain with the shatterproof durability of polymers, our compound provides a superior solution for environments demanding high hygiene standards and extreme durability.
Core Features
Exceptional Thermal Stability
Engineered to withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C to +150°C. It remains structurally sound during high-temperature sterilization and commercial dishwashing cycles without warping or degrading.
Superior Corrosion & Stain Resistance
The high-density molecular cross-linking creates a non-porous surface that resists acids, alkalis, and oils. It effectively prevents the penetration of strong food pigments, ensuring the tableware remains stain-free.
Food Safety & Compliance
Formulated to be BPA-free and non-toxic. Our material strictly adheres to global food safety standards, including FDA (USA), LFGB (Germany), and EU No. 10/2011 regulations regarding formaldehyde migration.
High Surface Hardness
Offers a "ceramic-like" feel with excellent scratch resistance. The material is impact-resistant, significantly reducing breakage rates compared to traditional bone china or stoneware.

Key Applications
  • Commercial Catering: Durable plates, bowls, and trays for hotels, restaurants, and fast-food chains
  • Aviation & Cruise Lines: Lightweight yet premium-feel dinnerware for high-frequency use
  • Institutional Use: Specialized trays and utensils for hospitals and schools that require frequent high-heat sanitization
  • Household Kitchenware: Aesthetic salad bowls, mugs, and serving platters
Processing & Storage Guidelines
  • Processing Methods: Optimized for both Compression Moulding and Injection Moulding machines
  • Pre-heating: High-frequency pre-heating is recommended to shorten the curing cycle and enhance the surface finish
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight. The recommended storage temperature is below 25°C
  • Shelf Life: 6 to 12 months under proper storage conditions
Note: While this material is highly heat-resistant and dishwasher-safe, it is not recommended for use in microwave ovens or conventional ovens, as prolonged exposure to electromagnetic radiation or direct flame may cause the resin to become brittle.
